Awesome job as usual Dan. You've always got great work. A still frame alone in your style is more than enough to give me a big grin.

wow, just wow!
you guys are AWESOME! You capture the life in animation that so many people miss. Good work and good luck in the future.
an incomplete trailer; the height of laziness
"Too bad, were finishing it."
Well I for one am glad you're wasting your time on this rather than gang fights and selling drugs.
(Although fights and drugs may be a step forward)
I had tears in my eyes. It was just that awesome.
The thing that just finished it for me was watching the cats commander head banging. That was just too damn awesome. Thanks for the laugh!
Well, you tried. THANK you for not tweening.
at least you gave an effort. Study drawing from life, look at people around you, draw one of your friends when they're playing a video game or something. You won't improve your art ability if you just keep drawing anime, especially in the awful style that you used here.
Also, good job on not overly using tweens.
Artwork is well done.
Everything that Alone in the Dark said in his review below is exactly how I feel about the piece. It is a shame that the end felt a bit rushed. I remember being told that a piece is only as good as it's worst flaw, and the worst flaw in this was that run with tweened arms and an odd humping motion. The beginning and end of a film are the most important parts, and the end didn't quite do it for me either. Still, I went on too long on the negative points. Your film overall is very well done, I'm just a real animation hound as opposed to just admiring the illustrative value of flash.
Good job.
Thanks for your review.
See my reply to AloneintheDark cause I dont really feel like repeating myself.
more animation.
decent art, your 3/4 angled drawings need work and you need ACTUAL animation. Walking is not a torso bobbing up and down moving across the screen. If you have to cut back on something, like shading or colour, whatever, just make sure you get some actual animation in there, it will make it a thousand times better.
If this were done with any characters other than FF, it wouldn't do near as well, I'm certain. A good idea shouldn't need to ride on the fame of others to be a good idea.
Fantastic man. Your humour is great!
Again, the style and visuals are pure gold. This still has the same shortcomings of the first though. Set your audio to stream at the bottom where it says sync: Event (Event is the default)
Set it to Stream so that the audio will go with the lip sync. Kinda lacks music and SoundFX but I'm not gonna complain about that. Since a lot of the sight gags timing co-incided with the voices, the streaming sound was the biggest problem. Still, giving it a 5, want to see more from you.
Yes! Animation!
great job man. I like the fact that you added that scarf/headband in there. It flows very well and shows you understand your motion. Granted you don't need solid people, but the fact that in your fight scene, the hero was hit, and stumbled around for a second dazed just made me say "BOO YAH!" That sort of element makes a battle that much more believable. bravo.
in the properties at the bottom, choose stream.
with the frame selected, choose 'stream' in the properties box at the bottom. The default is 'event'.
As far as visuals go, I just don't see why people don't challenge themselves here. If you're in college, you should at least be old enough to comprehend how much appeal there is in a walking stick man.
Thankyou for the stream hint. I shall now go about fixing it.
As for sticks, I must point out that this is my first serious attempt at a Flash animation and as such, a stick is all I'm capable of currently.
