Link doesn't work

I Bet that's why the score is so low.

BLAM!

How much time did you spend on this? Talk about wasted time.

It;'s the sticks...

Dude, it says no complaining about sticks but don't expect to get better at animating or drawing if you animate nothing but sticks. The voice acting had no emotion but the fact that you had voices counts for something. Effects were nicely done.

Concept: Excellent Artwork: Blah

The order in which you ran events were very inspiring but any sense of grandeur was killed by the bad illustration.

Good concept

Best part of this is how you changed Akane's voice, that makes me die laughing. I suggest that you change the button's alpha to 0 instead of a blank keyframe when you want to "open the umbrella" button to blink so it doesn't disappear. That part is really annoying when you are unable to click on it altogether. Also, for your pictures, why don't you just trace bitmap and then put your own lines overtop?

Dekathos responds:

??? I'm sorry. I suck at action scripting and I still have alot to learn and you're just going way over my head. Thank you for your review tough! I plan on getting alot better. I hope you make a user account before I forget to mention it as well.

Great humour

REally funny stuff and excellent manipulation of sprites.

I'm not watching anymore.

Ok,I just viewed all three in succession. I'm sorry man, it really does seem like you tried but perhaps if you think about animating as if you were drawing on paper rather than tweening with flash, you'd have more success. You had more animation that was decent such as some of the kicks but the thing that got me was the elbow hitting the guy to the ground, his arm jerked down as if to pull some rope and you have a pool table sound effect. 'Bad guy in the corner pocket.' You should write your scripts before you do the art. It may be hard to believe but planning beforehand and organizing everything, such as layout is actually important. When it comes to a series animation that's supposed to have a story, it's absolutely crucial. I don't mean have your whole series planned out, I just mean do the planning before you do the art, don't make the script fit the animation. Watch cartoons (anime or not) and look at reactions and timing. Look in a mirror and say lines from your script and think what would you (if you had the characters personality) look like if you were saying some of those things. Showing Arrogancy around may be good for getting a graphics/web design job but as far as animation, don't count on it.

It's gettin worse man

Once again, art is nice, story doesn't work at all. C'mon man, "maybe if I can knock him off balance" Yeah, let's tip over the big guy that'll kill him for sure, somehow I'll change direction in mid air and do a little dance on his back. This time I noticed the body is too small for the head in most every scene. Watch the facial expressions when he's running or WHATEVER. He looks like a happy kid running after Santa Claus rather than a confident hero. Have the person getting hit react to the hit, even if it does no damage, he has to move somewhat, have him recover like it was nothing, or have him move a millimeter...

Art is well done, Voices are horrible

If you're just watching this to see the art, go nuts, you'll enjoy it, but make sure you turn the volume off because the voices will turn you off even if you're just for the art. No offense to the creator but the emotionless voices on everyone and southern drawl on the male characters (I can even hear it on that person from HQ) seems to utterly destroy any sense of suspense or whatever it was we were supposed to feel. As far as animation goes, the basics, writing, sound, are all at rock bottom but the artist is quite talented and art is very nice.
